30-something, married with cats, hobbyist doodler of doodlethings.

Daily doodles are on semi-hiatus. They're more like semi-daily doodles for now.

I like to reblog the occasional tutorial, other cool art, and random stuff that amuses me. I dig Supernatural, Doctor Who, MST3k, Mass Effect, and lots of other stuff that I won't list 'cause I could spend all day making it.

amandatolleson: Thorin Oakenshield by ~AmandaTolleson I went ahead and left out the arrows and sword hilt… It ended up being really distracting. :/ Oh well! Thorin Oakenshield drawn in Corel Painter 12 with detail oils and watercolor brush. Drawn freehand. No textured brushes other than the watercolor brush for the backround which is still hand done. The rest is a basic round brush. This was a lot of fun to draw! Curly glowy hair and fur and obnoxious lighting, backrounds and rich colors yes. Prints available here: [link]
