Daily doodles are on semi-hiatus. They're more like semi-daily doodles for now.
I like to reblog the occasional tutorial, other cool art, and random stuff that amuses me. I dig Supernatural, Doctor Who, MST3k, Mass Effect, and lots of other stuff that I won't list 'cause I could spend all day making it.

Continuing playing around w/ sketchythings. Trying to quickly capture an idea with fast color and loose lighting.
“So this is $1600 from the tables and $400 from the wheel. Mack told me he got the vig ready today so I’m going to see to that first before checking down the list.” After saying this, Halsted pulled his hand away from the envelope which he placed ont he desk and turned to walk away. “If I go to a game tonight, I’ll call to let you know, if you need something.”
Ashland looked away from the form between his hands before speaking.
“Actually, you should sit.”
Halsted stopped and turned to look back.
“Now?”
“Yeah, yeah, sit.”
“What’s the matter?”
“Sit.”
Was working on some other stuff, so this is some quick fun. Started out as rather random, but I think Jake and Abi wandered in.
Seems like since I’ve been playing Diablo 3 and the Mass Effect series, my brain wants to do speed doodles that feel like mash-ups inspired by both. Cloaks and laser guns and who knows what, all in the pot. Bam.
Still playing around with a different speed sketchy style thing for fun.

Went back to the lineart for this to play around with for my warm-up doodling tonight. Since at some point I picked a desert environment, I’m messing around with the goggles and covered head approach. Did a little more refinement on her armor and added a few different things. Also playing with possibly putting a city of some sort in the bg later.
Not sure where I’m going with this, but I found that I was having a lot of fun with it so we’ll see where we end up. Still working out the kinks and marking things off to tweak, but having a good time.

Now that I’ve got some other things out of the way, I’m getting back to this. I’m redrawing a few things on the first page or two, after learning a few things from dabbling with my spn comic stuff.
Workin’ on a nicer character sheet for Jake. May or may not have jumped into the coloring before finishing the inks for the whole body. Whoops.
