Ammo's Art

Ammo [am-oh] - noun

aka Allison.
30-something, married with cats, hobbyist doodler of doodlethings.

Daily doodles are on semi-hiatus. They're more like semi-daily doodles for now.

I like to reblog the occasional tutorial, other cool art, and random stuff that amuses me. I dig Supernatural, Doctor Who, MST3k, Mass Effect, and lots of other stuff that I won't list 'cause I could spend all day making it.

Good luck.

I’m sure I forgot to do something, somewhere.  But I think it’s done.  For now.

As usual, this turned into a much larger beast than planned.  But that’s okay, because I think I’m enjoying drawing again, finally.  And by “enjoying”, I mean getting annoyed, stressing, frustrated chewing of stylus, uncertainty of what to do when I hit a hard part, making stuff up, repainting entire sections, etc.  The usual.

Further refining, some bg work, racing stripes (thanks for that, Jess), and texture testing.  Basically for a while I didn’t really know how to get where I wanted with this, so I just played around.  But I think it’s getting there.

I decided to start cleaning this up.  Kinda messing around with a different way of attacking this, not quite my usual routine.  Shaking things up a bit.  Got most of the colors down in Painter, will probably flatten the figures down to one layer and go into PS for some tweaking, bg work, and more coloring etc.
