Finished the lineart, did some cleanup, got the background (mostly) painted, textured and lit. Flats are finished (colors subject to change as always), tomorrow I can shade and finish it off.
Then probably back to my normal style again. Who knows!

Apparently I had a lot of ideas to try, like actually doing a lot of the background in inks here, and also just tried some different stuff with the line art. Not sure I’ll get it colored before bed, but we’ll see how inspired I get.
I really left myself a lot of ink mess to clean up. I’m really tired tonight and it’s stuffy in my drawing room and I’m cranky and exhausted so I’m gonna just drop this here have some ice cream watch something out in the living room where it’s cooler and then crash.
The inks on this one are going a bit messily. Even so, some decent progress tonight. Still have some stuff to work out, but I fixed a few things and it’s going well enough.
