Ammo's Art

Ammo [am-oh] - noun

aka Allison.
30-something, married with cats, hobbyist doodler of doodlethings.

Daily doodles are on semi-hiatus. They're more like semi-daily doodles for now.

I like to reblog the occasional tutorial, other cool art, and random stuff that amuses me. I dig Supernatural, Doctor Who, MST3k, Mass Effect, and lots of other stuff that I won't list 'cause I could spend all day making it.

Good luck.

So I’m trying to sketch out a scene which is a bit complicated.  For me, anyway.  My first layer was a rough sketch to kind of start to get positions down for the two fighters.  The second rough layer cleaned things up a bit, but then i experimented with placing limbs in different positions, trying to find the right spots.  The third layer builds on that second layer, and is probably messier, as I try to work out how it’s flowing and if everything is making sense (for example, I realized I hadn’t put enough twist in the green figure’s torso, so i started to fix that).  I also rotated my canvas a bit, as I’m going to turn the scene a bit to find a nice dramatic angle.  I may also crop the action closer at some point.
There’s a lot to clean up and a bunch of errors to correct, but if/once I’m happy with this I can go on to the really hard stuff.
