Didn’t get too far with this one yet. The tablet is now off to Wacom for resurfacing, so not much else is gonna happen with it in the next week or so.
Happy (future) birthday Commander Shepard, I finished the inks for this one. I’ve decided to tackle most of the bg in the color phase. This should be interesting.
Busy day so not a lot of time before Arrow and SPN. Started some nitty gritty cleaning up her face and armor.
Getting a wip in before Cat breaks tumblr again. I decided I wanted to use the ME2 N7 suit instead of 3’s, because I just like it so much better. It’s already going along easier. Tomorrow I’ll probably start working on the bg.
Slow progress ‘cause I’m a bit burned out from this weekend. I made a new layer for Morgan’s armor, and I start with quick, swoopy lines to get hit the basic forms and then I’ll go clean them up or redraw them on a new layer. Armor is hard. I’ll probably redraw a lot of this.
Made some adjustments to Joker’s face so he looks more Joker-y, started a second rough-ink run on Shepard because the first didn’t work out so well, and dug up a few screenshots so I can draw the background. Also made a special layer for Joker’s beard, mostly in case I decide to redo it in the coloring stage.
I’ve been wanting to do a cool Normandy cockpit shot for a while now, so I started sketching one.
I still like to pretend that the femsheps got the cool leather jacket.
Cue epic flashback montage of Kaidan and Garrus lamenting the amount of time being wasted by Shepard’s Quasar habit in ME1.
