So I decided to complicate my day by attempting to learn to draw Legion. It seemed like a good, simple idea at the time. ”Oh, I’ll toss in the M-98, too.” Yeah, great idea.

So I’ve made a good six or seven or ten refining sketch layers for this pic, mainly due to the size, plus there’s some big movement here. There’s a few things to tweak and a few things I’m still deciding on, but I think I’m ready to start inking it. *crosses fingers*

The good life.
‘nother messy page outta the mental sketchbook today.

While looking at the silhouette of Kaidan’s bulky new default space armor, it made me think of bulky medieval-ish fantasy armor, kinda. So I noodled around with the shapes, tried making his armor have more of a classic fantasy feel, turned it into silvery metal with painted stripes, gave him a sword, named it “paladin” and finally dropped a big ol’ turtle shell shield on his back because, well. Y’know.
… hrm, I think I liked it more last night when I drew it. Oh well.

If one is summoned to court by the Odinson, one must be prepared to sit around for several hours in old government offices with furniture from the 1980s and very fetching plastic plants. And eventually you will be called upon to say things. trufax

I haven’t drawn these guys in forever. So much funnnnnn… speaking of fun! Happy birthday, Jess! :D
